Chris Consoletti, owner of the Wareham Village Funeral Home, made the arrangements for my brother’s sudden passing so effortless for me. I cannot begin to say how grateful I am. Visiting the Wareham Village Funeral Home was like visiting in my Grandmother’s very beautiful living room. It is homey and inviting, and Chris Consoletti (and his adorable Airedale) is personable, empathetic, and generous. He went well beyond the service that I had experienced at a different funeral home when arranging for the funerals for both my parents over the past decade. I highly recommend this family owned business. The owner, Chris, and his family are members of the community. He was so helpful in explaining what I would need to do for my dad, when the time came, gave me options, helped me prepare the paperwork in advance and even let me know what a veteran was entitled to. We received an American flag and Chris will do everything necessary to get a memorial plaque placed in the national cemetery. He is so kind. He is passionate about his business and does everything he can to make this difficult time just a bit easier. Thank you Chris!!

Wareham Village Funeral Home has been absolutely amazing at assisting with my father's funeral plans. This is the first passing that I have been intimately involved in and Chris, the owner, has been patient, kind and thorough in his explanation of options, pricing and the entire process. I highly recommend this funeral home. I can't imagine better, more supportive services offered during a painful time. Also, as the passing of my father occurred during the pandemic, processes are normally slowed, but Chris has been on top of everything without delay. If there are minor updates needed to the online obituary he implements them in nearly real-time. Finally, if there are additions requested later (like an online guestbook) Chris is happy to add these services as requested. All in all, it was an excellent experience.

I worked with Chris Consoletti after the death of my dad. Chris, as usual, was professional, timely and a pleasure to work with. Since I don't live in Massachusetts, Chris was able to set up a burial and made the whole complicated process as streamlined as possible from a distance. My father recently passed and we were fortunate enough to work with The Wareham Village Funeral Home. Dave Miller — Our family resolved to purchase a funeral contract in advance as my Father-in-Law, was about to turn 92. My wife and I, unfamiliar with funeral homes in the Southcoast area, visited and/or telephoned several, all of which turned out to be corporately owned and managed, and individuals with whom we spoke were professional, and knowledgeable, but also intent upon "selling" us whatever combination of service(s), burial and equipment brought the most money to the home and its owners----in several cases out-of-state entities. This was NOT what we had hoped to find, so we restarted our search checking smaller, locally (preferably family owned) funeral homes in the area. I believe that Wareham Village Funeral Home was perhaps the third of this nature with whom we spoke, and from our initial call it was clear that we had found exactly what we were seeking. Director Chris Consolletti had nothing to "sell" us; rather he sat with us at considerable length, and listened to what we envisioned, and hoped to provide, for my wife's Father. Our own primary objectives were "dignity" and "affordability". Chris made several suggestions on each of those fronts; explained exactly what options he could offer; and stuck with it until in a single meeting, we had precisely the contract we wanted. He took care of establishing the Funeral Trust and explained its workings, and explained that my wife's Dad, as a WWII combat veteran, was entitled to a graveside Honor Guard ceremony, which he also arranged (We had not known this.) We explained to her Dad what we were recommending for him, and he was thoroughly pleased. The cost was to be $4000-$6000 LESS than quotes received from the corporate home chains. I will not elaborate on the service itself, which took place this past August, except to say that it was EVERYTHING we could have wished, and Chris personally presided over every activity, helping my wife with assorted forms and other responsibilities she would address as her Dad's Personal Representative. We, the entire family, and the service attendees could not possibly have been more pleased and grateful, and we would recommend Wareham Village Funeral Home and Chris Consoletti without qualification to any family seeking personal and focused attention; sound advice and suggestions; dedicated support throughout the process; attention to budget realities; and in the end, an outstanding outcome for a loved one. No one likes to think about funerals or funeral homes, because is means the loss of a loved one, whether it be and older person who has lived a long life, or a younger person who has their whole life ahead of them. I have just celebrated the life of a fourth person through Wareham Village Funeral Home. Chris, the director, is phenomenal. A request is handled with care, compassion and consideration for the grieving family, no matter how silly they may sometimes be, the request has special meaning to either the deceased or a family member. In my experience with Chris, and Wareham Village Funeral Home, he treats each deceased person with the tender loving care as if that person was a member of his own family.
