William "Willie" Santiago

Wareham-William Santiago, 61, of Wareham passed away on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at Tobey Hospital.  He was the husband of Audrey (Joe) Santiago and the son of the late William Easley and Sylvia J. (Lopes) Wynne.

Born in Boston,  he attended and graduated from Wareham Public Schools.  Received his Bachelor’s from Southern Massachusetts University and most recently worked as a union mason for JaCor.  He served in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed cooking.  He was an exceptional Wareham High School Viking athlete and cherished the time spent with family and friends.

He was the father of Jordan Santiago of Wareham and Alydia Joe, Joni, Sean and Holly Estabrook all of Canada.  He was the grandfather of Kerry, Jessica, Benny, Harvey, Bryce, Emily, Claire, Kamryn, Brandy, Arianna and the late Michelle. He was the great grandfather of Angelena, Kyson, Sebastian and Parker.  He was the brother of Ventura Santiago of Wareham, Rosemarie Santiago of Onset, Mary Anne Wynne of Fairhaven,  Sandra Gomes of Wareham and  Melissa Ratliff of North Carolina.  He was the nephew of Johnny Lopes and Rosemary Matthews and he was also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
