Vickie Spinola Cauthen, 74, of Wareham, passed away peacefully on Monday February 22, 2021 after many years of battling cancer. Vickie was born in Wareham, the daughter of the late Barbara Parker and James Cauthen. She graduated from Fresno High School, in Fresno California. Vickie spent many years managing Benny’s and working at Wareham Auto Parts.
Vickie loved to spend time with her family and there was never a shortage of jokes and laughter when she was around. She had an incredible memory, always knowing the name of any actor that came onto the screen or latest stats on her favorite golf and tennis players. Vickie was an avid lover of animals and was never happier than being surrounded by her fur babies. Some of Vickie’s fondest memories include riding her horse Ebony with her dear friends Jocelyn and Shooter. You could find them galloping around the pasture or splashing in the waves of Onset Beach.
She is survived by her sister Wendy Iezzi (Weich), brother Wylie Cauthen, former husband Joseph Spinola, stepdaughter Shikara Fernandes, stepson Andre Silvia, and many nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles, grandchildren, cousins, and friends. Vickie was a very caring individual who supported and loved her stepchildren, grandchildren, and nieces/nephews as if they were her own. Vickie will be deeply missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the ASPCA www.aspca.org or your favorite local animal shelter in memory of Vickie.
