Sigmund J. Mallard

Sigmund John Mallard, age 59, of Provincetown, MA, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022.  Sig was born January 7, 1963, in Springfield, MA, to Janice and John Mallard.

Sig graduated from Agawam High School in 1981.  He went on to attend the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Science Degree.  He held various jobs within the Springfield area, prior to moving to Provincetown.

He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Daniel, and his lifetime partner, Bennie Zeitler.  Sig will be lovingly remembered for his witty humor and captivating stories he loved to tell.  

He will be sadly missed by his surviving relatives including his only sister, Ruth Mezzetti, several cousins, nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews.

There will be a private celebration of life and loved ones will be notified. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod (ASGCC).
