Ruth P. Tanner, 100, passed away Saturday January 3, 2026 at the Life Care Center in West Bridgewater. Wife of the late Paul Honey Tanner and daughter of the late Frank H. and Selina (O’Pray) Campbell.
She was born in Boston, attended Boston Public Schools and lived in Easton for 70 + years. She and her husband owned and operated Tanner Ford in Easton for 52 + years. She enjoyed traveling especially Saint Croix, Sanibel Island and White Island Pond in Wareham. She also enjoyed reading, ceramics and Candlepin Bowling .
She was survived by her sons: Paul S. Tanner of Plymouth and Philip Tanner of Easton, NH. Grandmother of Jennifer and Michael and great grandmother of Parker and Madelyn. She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was the sister of the late Francis Campbell, John Campbell, Catherine Heinze, George Campbell, Mary Erickson, Dorothy Campbell and Gerrard Campbell.
