Ross M. Snyder, formerly of Middletown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 79.
Ross spent most of his adult life in Massachusetts most recently residing in Mashpee on Cape Cod. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Ross enjoyed a successful career in sales and was a tennis pro. His outgoing personality integrity and ability to connect with people earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Away from work he was an avid golfer.
Ross is survived by his loving wife, Jane Snyder, of North Falmouth , Massachusetts. They shared 33 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, companionship and happiness. He is also survived by his family; son, Robbie Snyder ( Andrea) of Naples, Florida; his grandchildren, RJ, Jess and Morgan Snyder, nieces Lorri and Jennifer and great nephew, Blake. He is also survived by his wife’s siblings, Jan Richards (NC), Carole Pettit (Bill ) of North Falmouth and Peter Sullivan of Walpole; nieces Kim, Nicky, Carrie and Jenna and great nephew, Thomas.
Ross was happiest spending time with his beloved wife, Jane and her family who brought him great joy throughout their years together. He will be remembered for his love of animals, quick wit and his enjoyment of the simple pleasures of life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ross's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Ross will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Celebration of Life service will be held on September 1 at the Church of Messiah at 11:00 located at 22 Church St., Woods Hole. Private family gathering to follow.
