Obituary
Wareham-Rodlyn A. Correia, 76, of East Wareham, husband of the late Geraldine A. (Auld) Correia passed away at Tobey Hospital on Friday March 3, 2023. He was born in Acushnet the son of the late Arnold and Margaret (Furtado) Correia.
He attended and graduated from Fairhaven Public Schools, was a U.S. Armey Vietnam era veteran. He worked in many local nursing homes as a chef and cook and later was a computer technician for Comcast. He volunteered for Mass Wildlife as a hunting education instructor and simply would celebrate Christmas all year long.
He is survived by his children: Melissa A. Leger of W. Wareham, Matthew S. Correia of East Wareham and Heidi M. Correia of East Wareham. He was the grandfather of Anthony Leger, Samantha Barros, James Demers and Paige Harris. Great Grandfather of Dawson, Sebastian, Emma and Luna. He was the nephew of Rose Correia of Dartmouth and cousin Wayne Correia. The was the brother of the late Michael and Sheldon Correia.
