Robert L. Brown, Sr.

Robert L. Brown, Sr. “Bob” passed away at home on April 20, 2026. Loving husband of 66 years to Beverly (Vaughan) Brown. Robert was born November 20, 1940 in Eastham, MA to the late James M. and Cecilia M. (Meehan) Brown.  Brother to the late James “Tiny” Brown.

Father to Laura and her husband Daniel Marcq, Robert Jr and his wife Dorothy and Cynthia and her husband Scott DelNigro. Grandfather to Daniel Marcq Jr. and his wife Sara, Garrett Marcq and his wife Marciala, Kevin Small and Derick Brown.  Great Grandfather to Alec and Jack Marcq, Elliott Marcq, and Kevin Jr.

A graduate of Braintree High School and served in the US Coast Guard during peace time. Bob retired as a plumber from the Polaroid Corporation. He enjoyed golfing and bowling with his friends. An avid reader and a lover of all football games. Proudly being a Senior Past Master of the Manet Lodge A.F & A.M of Quincy, MA since 1973. He lead a full life and touched the hearts of many. He will be lovingly remembered by all.  

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made to the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center www.capeveterans.com or a charity of your choice.
