Wareham-Richard M. Rowley, 85, passed away at home peacefully on Monday February 5, 2024. He was the husband of the late Marilyn E. (Johnson) Rowley.
Mr. Rowley was born in Brockton the son of the late Charles and Elsie (Wetzel) Rowley. He graduated from Brockton high school and is a U.S.A.F. veteran. He worked for many years as a butcher, Local 791 and as a truck driver, Teamsters Local 651. He was an avid NASCR fan and enjoyed camping.
He is survived by his children: Kevin D. Rowley and his wife Patricia of Marion, Stephen C. Rowley of Wareham and Brenda L. Stockel of FL. He was the loving grandfather of Geoffrey, Nicole, Gregory, Dakotah and Chaunee. Great grandfather of Natalie. He was the brother of Beverly Hanson of Marion and Ronald Rowley and his wife Carol of Mansfield.
Committal service Wednesday February 14, 2024 at 10: 15 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery 1 Bennington Blvd. Bourne, MA. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
