Rebecca Rita (Pina) Benitez-Figueroa

Wareham-Rebecca Rita Benitez-Figueroa, 80, passed away after a brief illness at the Accentcare Center in Milton on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Harry T. and Agnes (Correia) Pina.

She worked for many years as a secretary for the Town of Wareham and later at the Wareham Wastewater Pollution Control Facility, J.C. Engineering and Bello & Bello Attorneys.  Family 1st was her motto, she enjoyed picking blueberries, crafts, traveling and cooking.

She was the loving mother of Alicia Couto of GA and the late E. J. Benitez-Figueroa.  Grandmother of Aaron, Alivia and Julyan Benitez-Gaudette.  Sister of Leroy Pina and the late Sylvia Andrews, Maryann Figueroa, Richard Pina and Tony Pina.  Rebecca was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews,  relatives and friends.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday July 13, from 12 – 2pm in the Wareham Village Funeral Home 5 Center St. Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Burial private. Please visit www.warehamvillagefuneralhome.com
