Ralph J. Dlouhy, Jr.

Wareham-Ralph J. Dlouhy, Jr. 73, husband of Eileen M. (Russell) Dlouhy passed away at home on Friday July 8, 2022.  Born in New Bedford, MA he was the son of the late Ralph J. and Lorraine (Cote) Dlouhy, Sr.   Ralph had a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Massachusetts University and his Masters in Education from Fitchburg State College.

He was the Automotive Shop teacher at New Bedford High School for many years retiring as the Director of Career and Occupational  Technologies.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and he also enjoyed the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.  A motor boating enthusiast an avid reader and former member of the Brightman Pit Crew at Seekonk Speedway.  Ralph also served locally in the New Bedford Coast Guard Auxiliary. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters; Lisa Vasquez and her husband Robert and Anne Griffin and her husband Don all of Washington State.  Many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and  his fur babies Sherman and Chica.
