Rae E. "Nana" (Brown) Morrell

West Wareham-Rae E. (Brown) Morrell, “Nana”,67, of West Wareham, wife of the late Richard A. “Richie” Morrell Sr. passed away on Sunday September 13, 2020 at home with her family at her side.  She was born on March 4, 1953 in Wareham, MA the daughter of the late Thornton and Hazel (Morse) Brown Sr.  She attended Wareham Public Schools and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and Nana.  She also enjoyed to travel especially to Disney.

She was the loving mother of: Richard A. Morrell Jr. and his wife Kerry of East Wareham, Steven Morrell and his wife Sarabeth of Rochester and Dennis Morrell and his wife Suzanne of Kingston. She was the loving Nana of Richard III., Callie, Steven, Hunter, Brooke, Addison and Emily.  She was the sister of Thornton “Buzzy” Brown Jr. and his wife Betty of Onset, Kevin Brown and his wife Ann of Onset, George Brown of Middleborough, Cindy Norcross and her husband Dave, Jo Jean Torraco and her husband Daniel all of Wareham.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was the sister of the late Thomas Brown, Sr., Corey Brown, Susan Guillemette and Sharon Charette.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 16, from 5 – 7 pm in the Wareham Village Funeral Home 5 Center Street, Wareham, MA.  Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. 

Managed social distancing & the use of face masks are required for all facets of the funeral services. Rae’s family is concerned for the well-being of all family members & friends and will respect your decision on attending.
