Pamela E. (Stauffer) Olson

Dennis Port- Pamela Elizabeth (Stauffer) Olson of Dennis Port, MA died suddenly and unexpectedly on January 12, 2022. Pam loved Jesus as Lord, Savior and Redeemer and loved to serve people. If she saw a need in a person’s life and she would try to care for them however she was able. She was a stubborn and strong-willed widow since the death of her only love Walter E. Olson in 1980.

She didn’t live an easy life, but she lived a joy-filled full and wonderful life of impact. Her family was very important to her and she deeply cared for all of them. She would often be found cooking meals for people whether longtime friends or people she didn’t know. She enjoyed baking and providing people with cards and gifts. She especially enjoyed being a grandmother.

Her simple yet profound statements will stick with all of us that knew her as we progress forward in life. “Life is short enjoy it” “Trust God, forgive people life is too short” "Move forward not backward” “Love don’t hate” “Trust God in everything” “Follow God’s way not your own.” “Don’t be stupid” “Think don’t just do” “Take things day by day and enjoy life we are not guaranteed our next breath.”

She leaves behind a legacy of impact and one of passion and heavenly hope, Godly wisdom, sense of humor, and deep love for people.  She was the mother of Jodi Johnson, Colby Olson, Donna Thorburn and Greg Olson.  She was the grandmother of Cecilia, Kelsey, Troy, Tate, Dylan and Jake and sister of Jill Stanton and Paula Scanlon.  She was the daughter of the late Warren and Margaret (Leavitt) Stauffer.
