Michael Parker Obituary

West Wareham-Michael F. Parker, 69, of West Wareham passed away Saturday December 31, at home with his family at his side. Mr. Parker was the husband of Diane (Cornell) Parker also of W. Wareham.

He was born in Wareham the son of the late George and June B. (Hunter) Parker. He is a graduate of the Swayne School of Art in New Bedford. He worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a group home manager and he also worked at the former Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton. Mr. Parker loved a good laugh and enjoyed painting and model boat collecting. A loving and caring person he coached for Wareham Little League and Wareham Babe Ruth. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother in-law.

In addition to his wife Mr. Parker is survived by his children; Laura Parker of E. Wareham, Alicia Parker/Childress and her husband Chris of Wareham and Michael Parker II and his wife Heather of Wareham. He is the brother of Diane Halpren of Bourne, Judy Perkins of FL, Beverly Fratus of Cape Cod, Wally Anderson of Cape Cod and Jimmy Anderson of FL. He was the grandfather of Kaylee, Christopher, Joshua, Emma, Justin, Michael III and Mackenzie. He was the brother of the late Ronald Parker. He was also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Ceremonies: Funeral services will be private.
