MaryAnne R. Byrne

Bourne-MaryAnne R. Byrne, 59, of Bourne, formerly of Queens, NY, passed away at Tobey Hospital in Wareham on Thursday, March 31, 2022. MaryAnne was the loving mother of Juliana Byrne-Rosa of Brooklyn, NY. MaryAnne was born in Queens, NY, the daughter of Ruth Hendrickson of Sandwich, MA, and the late John Byrne of Queens, NY.

MaryAnne was employed as an administrative assistant with the Cape Cod Toy Library helping to provide enriching, accessible, culturally sensitive, educational environments and resources that promote learning through play experiences to foster healthy child development. Maryann enjoyed conversations with her daughter, home improvement shows, reading, and canal walks with her dog, Cooper.

MaryAnne is survived by her siblings: Colleen Murphy, John Byrne, and Thomas Albrecht, all of NY; James Byrne of TX; Renee Lett of MA; and Roxanne Elliott of DE. Maryanne is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, and was the sister of the late Michael Byrne of NY.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday April 6, from 6-8 PM in the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center St., Wareham, MA 02571. Burial will be at Saint Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
