Mary E. Shooshan of Onset passed away on December 5th, 2025 at Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Wife of Robert "Bob" E. Shooshan of Onset and daughter of the late Donald Ehrhard and Jennifer Ehrhard (nee Puskarczyk) of Danbury Connecticut.
Mary was born in Danbury and grew up there with her two older siblings, the late Michael Ehrhard and the late Teresa Adams (nee Ehrhard), as well as her younger sister Anne Windebank (nee Ehrhard). Mary attended Immaculate High School in Danbury and later graduated from Southeastern Massachusetts University with a degree from the School of Nursing. Mary worked for the VNA of Brockton Massachusetts and then at Pilgrim's Pride Nursing Home. Mary also taught in-service care and worked in geriatric care at Falmouth Nursing Home. Later in life she ran her own desktop publishing company and created a patent and business for the Koala Caddie knitting and crochet bag with the help of her husband Bob.
Mary loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing cook and always fed everyone who came into her house. She was a wonderful woman who always helped those in need when she could.
