Luz Maria Obituary

New Bedford-Luz Maria, 86, of New Bedford, formerly of Brockton and Florida passed away on December 24, at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home in New Bedford. She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic the daughter of Santurnino and Otilia (Aristey) Santana. She enjoyed her family and cooking.

She is survived by her children: Steven Soto of Texas, Amparo Maria of Florida and Zuleika Garland Nolan and her husband Charles of Milford. She is also survived by her granddaughter Zuleyka Garland and many loving relatives, friends and close family friend Chester Garland.

Ceremonies: Funeral services will be private. Memorial gifts may be made to the Sacred Heart Nursing Home 4th floor Saint Michael Unit 359 Summer Street New Bedford, MA 02740.
