Louise Marie (Mei) Silva

Dennis-Louise (Mei) Silva, wife of John Silva passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday March 26, 2025 at Tobey Hospital , Wareham. She and John Married in in 1961 and enjoyed 64 years together. She retired from Mansfield Co-operative Bank in 1999 and resided in Mansfield for 35 years, where they raised their family and moved to Cape Cod in 1999 and wintered in Florida for many years.

Louise was an avid reader, enjoyed card games and Mah Jongg. She was a fan of the Red Sox and Patriots, but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son Michael Silva and his wife Meg and a daughter Paula Pierdinock and her husband Michael. Grandmother of Justin Silva, Samatha Silva, Taryn MacGregor and Jan MacGregor. Louise was pre-deceased by her parents Joseph and Julia (Battioli) Mei, a brother Joseph Mei and a sister Jean Gundlah. 

Visiting hours have been omitted.  A funeral service for John and Louise will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025 at 10 am in the Wareham Village Funeral Home 5 Center Street Wareham, MA 02571.  Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
