Leslie S. (Shrader) Perron

Marion-Leslie S. Perron, (80), of Marion formerly of Wareham, passed away peacefully on Monday March 4, 2024.  Wife of the late Pierre R. Perron.  Mrs. Perron was born in New Bedford the daughter of the late James L. And Gladys W. (Place) Shrader.   

A 1961 Dartmouth High School graduate Leslie attended Cape Cod Hospital School of Practical Nursing and received her L.P.N in 1963.  She later became a Lic. Social Worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Dept. of Mental Health Cape Cod & Islands area.  Former Mother advisor for the Orleans Rainbow Girls, Amaranth Friendship Order.  Assistant Chaplain Pastoral Care & Hospice volunteer.   

She is survived by her daughter Michelle Powers of Wareham, Grandson Carter Powers, Close friend Rob Orne and her feline Sarah.   Sister of the late Janet Shrader and James J. Shrader.   

A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 10 O’clock in the Evangelical Zion Church, 2239 Cranberry Hwy, Wareham.  Memorial gifts may be made to the church.  Private burial in Chandler Gray Cemetery in West Yarmouth.  To leave a message of condolence for the family please visit www.warehamvillagefuneralhome.com
