Kenneth D. Sullivan, "Sully"

Medway-Kenneth D. Sullivan, “Sully”, 75, of Medway, passed away on February 27, 2025 peacefully at the Horacio Oduber Hospital, Aruba with his wife of 48 years, Barbara J. (Gentile) Sullivan by his side.

Sully was born in Portland, Maine the son of the late Daniel and Agnes Sullivan. He was a graduate of Kents Hill Prep School Class of 1968 and he attended the University of Vermont.  A Vietnam Era U.S. Army Veteran.  “Sully” worked for 35 years as a commercial roofer laborer for BH Cutler and Titan Roofing, he retired in 2009.

 A love for travel “Sully” enjoyed his island paradise of Aruba, visiting the island for 40 plus years.    He also enjoyed Cape Cod, Vegas, Saratoga Race Track and his Myrtle Beach golf vacations.  He was an avid skier enjoyed fishing, golf league nights, football, and a good western.  “Sully” always greeted everyone with a smile and enjoyed his life to the fullest.

He is also survived by his sister Pamela “Punk” Murray, his sister in-law Phyllis Keene wife of his late brother Mark Sullivan, brother in-law Ernest F. Gentile of Milford, sister in-law Claire M. Mullen and her husband, Philip ''P.J.,” of Yarmouth Port.  Nephew Matthew Mullen and his wife Michelle, Tyler Sullivan and his wife Adria.  His niece Carla Mullen and her boyfriend Roger, great nephews and nieces Dylan, Easton, Charlie and Loa.  His sisters dog “Mickey” and he was also survived by many loving and wonderful relatives and friends.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 3-6 pm in the Oteri Funeral Home 33 Cottage Street, Franklin, MA 02038.  A prayer service will conclude the visitation beginning at 5:30. 

A celebration of his life will follow at the Franklin Elks  # 2136. 1077 Pond St. Franklin.
