John "Jack" A. Conroy

New Bedford-John (Jack) A. Conroy, 88, of West Wareham, MA, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA, on November 26, 2021.  He was born on March 24, 1933, in Cambridge, the son of the late James K. and Marie (McKinnon) Conroy.

He was educated in the Cambridge school system.  Prior to his retirement, he was a Realtor with Upper Cape Realty in Wareham, MA. Before that, he was previously self-employed in the television repair business.  He was previously president of the Park Association, of Great Hill Estates in West Wareham, MA. Where he resided.  Jack loved singing publicly in Boston, and Bourne, MA. He loved watching the Red Sox, the Patriots, and Golf. His biggest passions were that he loved meeting new people through the real estate business and really loved spending as much time as he could with Carolyn and her family.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynda Coppinger, of Winnabow, NC, his son, John Conroy of Winthrop, and son, Robert Conroy of Manchester, NH. He was also survived by five grandchildren. 

His longtime companion of 30 years, M. Carolyn Tintle of West Wareham, MA, her children, which he considered his own, Barbara (Tintle) Finch and her husband, William Finch of Auburn, NH, Brian Tintle, of Manchester, NH, and Christine (Tintle) and her husband Leon Veretto, of Ellington, CT. Her grandchildren, Amanda, Timothy, Tyler, Alanah, McIntyre, and Matthew and great-grandchildren Ciarra and Aidan. He was predeceased by his daughter, Debra, and son, David, and grandchildren, Jenniker and Brian. his brothers, Ed, and Jim, and his sisters, Marie, and Joan.
