John A. Marshall, Jr.

John A, Marshall, age 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at home on December 27, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer.  John is survived by his son John D. Kowalski of Plymouth and daughter Kara L. Marshall of Bourne.  He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

John was predeceased by his daughter Falynn M. Marshall of South Boston.  He grew up in Chelsea and lived in the greater Boston area most of his life.  As an all-around Boston sports fan, he loved the Patriots the most.  As a Marine , John served his country and was an active member of the VFW Post 5988.  He was also a member of the Clark-Haddad Post 188 American Legion in Sandwich, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Buzzards Bay.

A Celebration of Life honoring John will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2023, at the VFW, 180 Shore Road, Bourne from 1pm – 3pm.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post #5988 in loving memory of John or to a charity of your choice.
