Joannne Pearl (Calzolari) Young

Maine-Joanne P. (Calzolari) Young, 95,of Maine formerly of Plymouth  passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2023.   Joanne was the wife of the late Richard J. Young and daughter of the late Evo and Eunice (Carpenter) Calzolari.

She attended Plymouth public schools and worked at the Memorial Press where she met her husband and soul mate. They married and moved to Buzzards Bay and owned and ran the Sagamore Market together. She was a former communicant of Saint Margaret of Scotland Parish.  She loved caring for her daughter, tending to her rose garden, painting and all animals.

She is survived by her daughter Allison M. Carveiro  & husband Robert Carveiro, Jr. of Maine and her grandchildren, Robert III, Damion, Susan and Joel. She was also survived by her 11 great grandchildren, her sister Audrey Bagni of Plymouth and many loving nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass Monday September 25, 2023 at 11 am in Saint Margaret of Scotland Parish 141 Main Street Buzzards Bay.  Please arrive at church at 10:30 am.  Interment will follow at 12:30 in Massachusetts National Cemetery.  To leave a message of condolence please visit www.warehamvillagefuneralhome.com
