Jeanne T. (Thibeault) St. Peter

Marston Mills-Jeanne Theresa St. Peter (Thibeault), 85, wife of the late Robert l. St. Peter, passed away peacefully on June 28th, 2024 at Cape Cod Hospital. Jeanne was born in New Bedford, MA on February 16, 1939 daughter of the late Alexander and Augustine Thibeault.

Jeanne moved to the Cape as a child and grew up in Barnstable Village. She spent her summers on Millway Beach where she invented the “bikini”.  Jean Jean the Dancing Queen won many dance contests but also got eliminated from a few for her sometimes suggestive dance moves.

She discovered her love of cooking, feeding people and talking s**t while working as a Soda Jerk at Miller's where she met her late husband Robert St. Peter.  She later spent her summers on the Ocean St Dock honing her "people skills" selling tickets for their fishing boat the Capt. Bob.

She was the mother of the late Denise (Clark) and Robbie St. Peter.  Grandmother of Tiffanie, Hailey, Robbie and Anthony but she was a mother to anyone who walked through her door. She was thrilled to become a Great-Grandmother to Sianna in 2023. Jeanne loved her family and animals fiercely and was the self-named protector of everyone. As much as she will be missed, we know she is at peace with her kids and husband again.
