Wareham-James E. Pierce, 80, of Wareham formerly of Rochester passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the son of the late Talbot. E. and Jeannette (Ladner) Pierce. James was the long-time companion of Marjorie L. Berube who passed away August 17, 2021.
James was born in Wareham and lived most of his life in Rochester. He graduated from New Bedford Vocational High School in 1960. He served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman from 1963 – 1965 during the Vietnam Era. James was also an auto mechanic for Battles Buick & GMC in Falmouth and Bourne and he loved his cats.
He is survived by his good friends and caregivers Frederick E. LaComb of RI and his companion Wendy Whalon.
