George L. Brown

Plymouth-George L. Brown, 70, of Middleborough formerly of Wareham passed away after a long battle with cancer, at the Plymouth Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. He was born in Wareham the son of the late Thornton and Hazel (Morse) Brown Sr.

A carpenter / construction supervisor for many years working for: Royal Drywall of Middleborough, Excel Builders of Boston, Jarret’s Home Services of Middleborough and Bachant Builders of Lakeville.  He enjoyed hunting , fishing, camping and spending time in nature.  He answered to Geroge, Geo and “Monk” but was never afraid to speak his mind.  A fun uncle on camping trips who was never short on stories.

He is survived by his son Ryan Brown and Sadie Ryan’s wife and his grandchildren Liam and Eiley all of Middleborough.  Brother of:  Thornton “Buzzy” Brown, Jr. (Betty) of Onset, Kevin Brown (Ann) of Onset, Cindy Norcross (David) of Wareham,  Jojean Torraco (Dan) of New Bedford and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Brother of the late Susan Guildmette, Thomas Brown, Sharon Charette, Rae Morrell and Corey Brown. 

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday December 6, 2025 from 1pm – 4pm  at the Lakeville Country Club 44 Clear Pond Road, Lakeville, MA 02347
