Erin K. Cahill

Erin K Cahill, 50, of Middleboro, MA, formerly of Wareham and Mansfield, passed away on Friday March 17, 2023 at Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston, after a brief illness. She died peacefully, with her son and loving family by her side.

Erin was the daughter of Martin and Kathleen (Cameron) Cahill, of Wareham.

She was the mother of Keegan P Cahill of Middleboro. She is survived by her sisters Shannon and Haley Cahill, both of Boston, and her brother Benjamin Cahill and his wife Smriti Lakhey of Washington, DC. Erin leaves behind many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, her nephews, Nikhil and Sabin Lakhey Cahill, her coworkers and many good friends.

After graduating from Mansfield high school, Erin went on to pursue a career in healthcare. She always gravitated toward helping others, and her giving spirit touched so many lives. Erin advocated for the less fortunate and always helped anyone in need.

Erin was an avid reader all her life, often reading a book a day. Another one of Erin’s passions was music.  She loved the Grateful Dead and Phish. Erin loved watching football, and she never missed a Pats game.

Erin had a powerful love for her son, who she raised to be a sensitive and intelligent young man. Keegan was her proudest achievement and the love of her life. Erin’s kindness and generosity will always live on through her son.

.A celebration of Erin’s life will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 3pm at the Hampton Inn Cape Cod Canal, 12 Kendall Rae Place, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.
