Elizabeth Tripp Obituary

Onset-Elizabeth Helen (Cook) Tripp "Beth", 81, of Onset formerly of Sagamore, passed away Monday August 16, at Cape Heritage Nursing Facility in Sandwich. Beth was born in Sagamore and lived in Onset for more than 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Elton Levi Henry and Ruth Alice (Kenny) Cook. She is the sister of the late US Army Master Sgt. Walter and his wife Barbara Cook. Her passion in life was her family; she deeply loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and lived just to spend time with them. She especially loved to watch them all play sports. From the Wareham Tiger days in the 1960's to Ruthie and her softball games to her great grandchildren's baseball and football games. She was every teams "Nana Beth". She worked for many years for the U.S. Postal Service in Onset and North Falmouth.

She is survived by her son Billy and his wife Debbie, her daughters; Marjory and her husband Allen, Lori Ann and her husband James (Barney) and Amy all of Onset. She is survived by 14 grandchildren and twenty one and a half great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving Jamie of Florida, David, and Sandy Tavares and their families of N. Falmouth. She was predeceased by grand and great grandchildren Erica, JD and Willie.

Ceremonies: Visiting hours will be held on Friday August 19, from 3-7pm only in the Wareham Village Funeral Home 5 Center Street. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Memorial gifts may be made to the Wareham COA 53 Marion Rd. Wareham, MA 02571. Burial will be private.
