Edward E. Rosenberg, 95, of Harwich Port, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, he was born in Boston, MA, and raised in Brighton. He and his beloved wife, Lois, of 57 years, moved to Westwood in 1968, where they raised their family. In 2007, Ed and Lois moved to Harwich, MA to be close to their friends
Ed leaves behind his children, Carol Ann and husband Cal, Linda and husband Michael, daughter in law Debra, Mark and wife Sophie, Beth and husband Eric and Celia and partner Jeff. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Allison, Josh, Eric, Drew, Cole, Lexie, Noah, Eden and Adele.
He is predeceased by his son David, brothers Donald and Elliot and parents Celia and Maurice..
Ed graduated from Northeastern University, at which time he entered the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was discharged as a Captain in the Marine Corps. Ed then went on to receive his MBA from Babson College. After graduation, Ed went into the investment business as a VP at Clayton Securities as well as teaching accounting and finance at Babson. From there, Ed started his own brokerage firm, First Devonshire in Boston, where he had a seat on the New York Stock Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade. In his later years, Ed was a financial consultant and real estate developer.
While in Westwood, Ed was the Coordinator and coach for Westwood Youth Hockey. He also volunteered on many boards in the town of Westwood and was instrumental in forming the Aide to the Elderly, which was very near and dear to his heart.
Ed leaves a legacy full of life and friends and a twinkle in his eye.
