Donna Marie (Hammond) Barrows

Wareham-Donna M. (Hammond) Barrows, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday April 13, 2026 at the Sippican Nursing Home.  She was the wife of 65 years to the late Gerald Barrows Sr. and daughter of the late Kenneth and Lena (Andrews) Hammond.

A 1955 graduate of Wareham High School. Donna was employed as a New England Telephone & Telegraph, ship to shore telephone operator.

She is survived by her daughter Ginny Williams and 5 sons: Gerald Barrows Jr. Kenneth Barrows Sr., Kevin Barrows, Glenn Barrows Sr.  and Damien Barrows.  Loving grandmother of 14 and  great grandmother of 11.  She was also survived by many loving relatives and friends.  Grandmother of the late Kenneth Barrows, Jr., sister of the late Kenneth Hammond, Jr.

Together Donna and Gerald lived a wonderful life and their greatest achievement was their family and raising 6 children.
