Wareham-Donald N. Barrows, 92 of Wareham passed away at home with his family at his side on Sunday October 10, 2021. Husband of Pearl E. (Matthews) Barrows. Born in Wareham the son of the late Frank and Mary (Hillman) Barrows.
He attended Wareham Public Schools and retired from the Dept. of Transportation for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He enjoyed restoring and converting VW Bugs with conversion kits and deer hunting. A life member of the VFW, Dudley Brown Post 2846, Onset.
Father of Wanda Peters, Donald A. Barrows, Dwayne Barrows, Paige Haggins, Marc Barrows and Roxanne Hayes. Grandfather of Jazmyne, Dwayne, Dylum, Nichelle, Curtis and Marlene. Great Grandfather of Kaliana, Vada and Carter. Brother of Pearl Barrows, Lucille Gonsales, Gerald Barrows and the late Frank Barrows. He was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Committal service, Thursday, October 14, at 1:15 pm the Massachusetts National Cemetery 1 Bennington Blvd. Bourne, MA. Please arrive at the cemetery at 1pm. Relatives and friends invited.
