Diane (Cornell) Parker

West Wareham-Diane Parker, 72, of West Wareham, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at home with her family at her side.  Mrs. Parker was the wife of the late Michael F. Parker.  She was born in Acushnet, MA the daughter of the late Edward A. and Alice (Medeiros) Cornell. 

She graduated from Bristol Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Library Science.  She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and she was a take charge kind of girl.

She was the mother of Laura Parker of East Wareham, Alicia Childress/Parker of West Wareham and her husband Christopher and Michael Parker II and his wife Heather.  She was the sister of Linda Bart of Florida, Debra Vaughan of New Bedford, Josephine Klimchuck of Wareham and Gerald Vaughan of VA.  She was the grandmother of Kaylee, Christopher, Joshua, Emma, Justin, Michael III and Mackenzie.  She was the great grandmother of Kaelani.  She was the sister of the late John Vaughan.

The family would also like to thank Cranberry Hospice for the outstanding and dedicated care the nurses and medical professionals provided.
