Debra L. (Ganley) Alves, RN

West Wareham-Debra L. Alves, 68, of West Wareham formerly of Maine passed away at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River on Saturday July 23, 2022.  Wife of the late Joseph Alves and daughter of the late John J. and Florence (Sanderson) Ganley.

Debra was a Registered Nurse at a psychiatric facility in Fairfield Connecticut and Director of Nursing at The VA in Maine.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing and animals.

She is survived by her niece Dale Andrade and (Joe) of W. Wareham.   Sister of  Francis Duhime and (Jack) of Maine, Charmaine  Ireland and (Philip) of Florida, Christopher Ganley and (Karen) of South Carolina, John Ganley and (Julie) of the Carolinas.  Step mother of  Cheryl Chester and Laurie Fields of Los Angeles and many loving nieces, nephews  relatives and friends. She was the stepmother to the late Joseph Alves III.
