David Testa Obituary

East Providence, RI -David Michael Testa, 68, of Wareham, MA formerly of Richmond, RI, passed away Tuesday July 21, at the Orchard View Manor Nursing Home in East Providence, RI after a long illness. David was born Sept 5, 1946 the son of the late Michael A. and Pauline V. (Perreault) Testa.

He spent his early years in Richmond, RI where he attended Richmond Grammar School and Chariho Regional High School where he was a student athlete and class officer. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and loved camping and fishing (especially in the mountains of Idaho where he was stationed while in the Air Force). Mr. Testa was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran. David was also a musician who played the guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin and clarinet. He loved country music and enthusiastically attended many concerts throughout New England with his family and friends. He was also an accomplished artist and photographer. He often worked with his uncles on the potato farms and had many stories to tell of his time working there with his family.

David was kind and appreciative. He enjoyed the company of his family and his many friends and the staff at Kendrick House in Wareham where he resided for many years. He is survived by numerous cousins who loved and will miss him dearly.
