David C. Carney

Wareham- David C. Carney, 90, of West Wareham passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Tobey Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Ann (Johnson) Carney.

Born in Waltham, son of the late Edward and Mary (Daly) Carney.  He attended Whitman Public Schools and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He loved to play golf, especially at The Bay Pointe Club in Onset.  

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Janie Comeau of Holbrook; siblings Kathryn White of Halifax, Mary O’Connell of E. Falmouth, Phillip Carney of W. Wareham; his sister in-law Dolly Carney of Whitman and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  He was also the father of the late Cindy Carney and the brother of the late Robert Carney.
