It is with very heavy hearts we inform you that our mom Christine (Pearson) Watts, passed on Monday, November 4th, 2024, surrounded by family. She left behind too many to list individually. Her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchild, sister, brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.
Christine was born January 29th, 1958 to George Sr. and Helen Pearson. Born and raised in Plymouth MA and a 1976 graduate of Plymouth Carver High School.
My mom had different jobs in her lifetime. Bank teller when she was younger. She even worked at McDonald's when my sister and I were very young. A factory worker, then a security guard at the nuclear power plant in Plymouth. She had that job for many years. For the past 26 years she had the best job of all. Well in my opinion anyways. NANA to her loving grandchildren. She took such wonderful care of them. They all love her so so very much. My mom was their caretaker, friend and person they all could confide in. Nana daycare was the best
Mom was really something special. She never judged anyone. Loved everyone and everyone loved her. If anyone needed anything she was right there to help. A hot meal or place to stay her door was always open. She was the most selfless person I knew, always putting others before herself.
Mom loved her church and all the people there. Before (Covid) she went every Sunday. Even though she wasn't there in person the last few years, she was with you all. So glad that they continued to live stream services. Her way of helping was to volunteer with the church food pantry. She would go pick up the food at the food bank and deliver to the church. When it became too much physically for her, her husband took over the pickups.
My mom was truly an angel on earth. She will be forever in our hearts. Once arrangements are made we will notify everyone.
Isaiah 41:10, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
