Charles E. White

West Wareham-Charles E. White, 69, passed away on Tuesday October 19, 2021, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA.  He was born in Glade Springs, VA. the son of the late Ceila Lapaz and Theresa (Smith) White.

Charles loved all music, especially Motown, Bob Marley and Gospel. He was an avid sports fan, following the Orioles, Wizards, Redskins and college football. Charles loved crabbing and fishing off the local bridges and walking on the beach on the Cape.

His lifelong profession was as a chef in Williamsburg, Hampton and Maryland and was a partner in a restaurant in Williamsburg, VA. Prior to his retirement, he was a chef at The Red Pheasant in Dennisport. His easygoing manner and style were enjoyed by all his family and friends, especially at family events and holidays.

He was the father of the late Edward M. Porter and Jonathan White of VA.  Brother of Carolyn (d) and Earl Hutcheson of MD, Calvin White and (Deborah) of PA, Carlton White and (Barbara) of D.C. and Charlotte Diane Harris and Bernard (d) of Maryland. 

Loving grandfather of Promyse White, Jahvion Johnson.
