Charles Garnett Obituary

Wareham-Charles W. Garnett, 80, of Wareham formerly of Carver, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 with his family at his side.  He was the husband of the late Joan (Hogan) Garnett.  Mr. Garnett was born in Middleborough, the son of the late Norman and Daisy Lee Garnett.

Mr. Garnett worked for many years as a land clearer and then as a cranberry grower.  He owned and operated Log Cabin Acre’s in Carver and River Bend Cranberries in Nova Scotia, Canada.  He also enjoyed the Annapolis Valley Exhibitions in Nova Scotia, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his children; Linda C. Sciarappa and her husband Jay of Pownal, VT., Terry A. Verville and her husband Robert of E. Wareham.  He was one of 20 siblings and he is survived by Leslie Garnett of Nova Scotia, Thelma Mackey of Alaska, Jeannette Dykerhois of Nova Scotia and Ramona Pearl of Nova Scotia.  He was the grandfather of Angela Baldwin and her husband Gary, Robert Verville III and his wife Katelynn, Jason Sciarappa, Matthew Verville and Melissa Cash and her husband Daniel.  He was the great grandfather of Serina, Kylee and Lillianna Verville.  He was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was the father of the late Stephen C. Garnett.
