Carlene F (Motta) Brennan

West Wareham-Carlene F. Brennan, 70, passed away at home on Sunday, April 30, 2023, after a period of declining health with her family at her side.  She was the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Oliveira) Motta.

She was born in New Bedford and was a 1970 graduate of New Bedford High School and a 1974 graduate of Bridgewater State University.  She taught in the New Bedford Public Schools, mostly as a sixth-grade teacher. She took great pride in teaching her students self-confidence as they prepared to graduate elementary school.  She loved all animals especially her dogs Cocoa and Oreo.

She is survived by her daughter and son In-law, Kerri Ann and Philip Chiaraluce of Wareham.  Her grandchildren Sophia and Colin.  Her loving companion Louis Caron of West Wareham.  She was the sister of Diane Rish of GA and Doreen Costa of MA.  She was also survived by her nieces and nephews, Darren Rish of GA, Jessica Platt of RI and Jefferey Desrosiers of MA.
