Cameron O. ("Cam the Jam") Wood

Bridgewater-Cameron O. Wood, 76, passed away at Brockton Hospital on Thursday November 27, 2025.  He was the son of the late Carlston H. Wood , Jr. and Sylvia Ann (O’Neil) Wood.

He was born in Bridgewater and was well known as “Cam the Jam” for his musical talent.  Cam was an avid chess player and a one-time U.S. Chess Federation tournament director. He is  well known as a musician and bass guitar  player for many years with his family members and brother musicians in  the Wood Bros Band. He loved all local sport teams especially the Patriots.

Cameron worked for many years  in the family-owned tire sales  and repair businesses, owned by  his grandfather then later his uncles in the Bridgewater area.  He also owned and operated an emergency roadside truck tire repair service

Cameron was the brother of Christine “KiKi” Marcos and her husband Dennis of Hyannis and  Carlston H. Wood, III. And his wife Suzy of Wareham.  Uncle of Richy, Jessica, Ashley, Autumn and Abby.  Great uncle of Hanni and beloved cousin of Andrew and Amy.  He was also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
