Barry S. Pires

Wareham-Barry S. Pires ,66, of West Wareham, passed away at Tobey Hospital on Saturday June 8, 2024.  He was born in Wareham the son of the late Sidney and Lydia (Monteiro) Pires Sr. 

A 1976 graduate of Wareham High School Barry worked as a laborer in the construction field for many years.  He was an avid New England sports fan and  enjoyed old school music, dancing and singing.

He was the father of Erin Pires-Colon and grandfather of Amari and Maleah of W. Wareham.  Brother of Lynne Lopes of Onset, Brian Pires of W. Wareham, Lydia Lightford of Brockton, Roberta Pires of W. Wareham, Sidney "Peachie" Pires of W. Wareham, Paul Pires of Onset, Darrell Pires, of W. Wareham, Viola Pina-Pires and Donna Gomes of New Bedford.  He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. 

He was the brother of the late Lee, Chris & Patrick Pires and Jeffrey Alves.
