Barbara A. (Fearing) Lavine

Wareham-Barbara A. Lavine, 88, of Wareham , passed away on Monday April 3, 2023 at Tobey Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Ralph D. Lavine and daughter of the late John F. and Marjorie (Tripp) Fearing.

Born in Wareham and a 1953 graduate of Wareham High School, Barbara was a former real estate Broker and co-owner of Martingale Associates. She enjoyed traveling, Foxwoods, collectables, especially dolls.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Knapp and her husband Glenn of Wareham. She was the sister of John Fearing , Gertrude Alley, Leslie “Lucky” Fearing and Marjorie Cooper. Grandmother of Jeffrey and Julie Lavine and Anne and Howard Andersen. Great grandmother of Joshua, Jamison, Kyle, Andrew, Michael, Leo, Patricia, Nicholas and David and our beloved family in Rochester Alicia Spillane & Erika Bogdon. She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving grandson Byron Frates and her siblings Glesia Yoder, Beverly Hoffler, Byron Fearing and Dorothy Eldridge.

A celebration of her life will be held in June at a time and date to be announced.
