Alice (DiGiulio) Jacobson

Plymouth-Alice (DiGiulio) Jacobson, 93, of Plymouth formerly of Weymouth and Quincy, passed away at home peacefully with  her loving family  at her side on Wednesday February 10, 2021.  Mrs. Jacobson was the wife of the late Alfred T. Jacobson who passed away in February of 2019.

She was born in Quincy, MA the last surviving daughter of the late Nicholas and Maria (Gramazio) DiGiulio.  She was blessed with three wonderful and close-knit sisters, Virginia Merluzzo, Eleanor Leary and Louise Knowles who always gathered for a cup of coffee and a chat.

Alice worked for many years at the Marvel Beauty Parlor in Quincy Square and was loved and appreciated by many of her customers and co-workers.  In later years she enjoyed working at Talbots in Hingham. Alice and Alfred married and moved to Weymouth where they resided for 64 years in their pride and joy  “Storybook Cape”.   She enjoyed many hours of gardening and home projects.  She especially loved having her grandchildren visit - “Visiting with Nana was like a warm hug.”

She is survived by her loving daughters Suzanne Owens and her husband Kevin and Linda Barron and her husband Charlie;  her  devoted grandchildren Steven, Jennifer, Joseph, Ashley and Cameron; and her adored great grandchildren Alexander, Mariah, Catherine and Isla.  She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
