Alfred Joseph Pighetti, 96, of Barefoot Bay, FL. and formerly from Milford, MA., passed peacefully on Monday, August 18th, 2025 with loving family by his side.
He was born November 20th, 1928, the only son of the late Emilio and Angelina (Frascotti) Pighetti, of Milford.
Alfred graduated Milford High School Class of 1947. He was married to Janice (Eddy) Pighetti and previously to the late Estelle M. (Cusson) Pighetti.
A Tool & Die Machinist by trade, Al resided in Milford for many years before moving to Meredith, NH where he owned and operated a convenience store and gas station. Thereafter, he moved to Barefoot Bay, FL., where he enjoyed many years of retirement.
Al served in the Massachusetts National Guard, 104th Infantry Regiment, stationed at the Armory, in Milford, earning the rank of Sergeant. He was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus, Valencia Council #80, serving as Grand Knight and also the Sons of Italy, Lodge #1356, both in Milford. Al was an avid fan of Boston sports and had a great affinity for billiards, golf and luxury cars.
In addition to his wife, Janice, he is survived by two sons, Alfred P. Pighetti and longtime companion, Lisa May, of Hopedale, MA., and Michael A. Pighetti and his wife, Julie, of Milford, MA., and a step-daughter, Natalie Tirado and her husband, Joseph, of Micco, Fl., along with 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
