Stephen Brown Obituary

Bourne-Stephen A. Brown, 74, of Bourne formerly of New Bedford and Acushnet passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Buzzards Bay.   He was the husband of Carol (Morrell) Brown of Fairhaven. 

Mr. Brown was a Shelter Supervisor for many years for the City of New Bedford. Mr. brown was also a  U.S. Army, Vietnam War veteran.  He is survived by his children; Darlene Penn and her husband David of Henderson Nevada, Lisa Brown and her companion Victor Gillette of New Bedford, Stephen Brown, Linda Brown and Elizabeth Brown all of New Bedford.  He was the grandfather of Cindy, Elisha, Sierra, Courteny, Stephanie, Alex, Jeremy, Jarrod and Daimen he was also survived by 6 great grandchildren.   He was the brother of the late Diane and Joseph Brown and he was also survived by many loving relatives and friends.  Special thanks to Elizabeth Stanford and Katy Ewan and all of the Staff at Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Buzzards Bay for the exceptional care Stephen received.

Committal services with military honors in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Blvd. , Bourne, MA,  will be held on Monday January 7, 2019 at 11:15 am please arrive at the cemetery at 11.
