Michael "Mycul Wayne Paris" Gonsalves

Wareham-Michael “Mycul Wayne Paris” Gonsalves, 53, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, after a long illness. Mycul was the son of the late Alfred L. and Antonia (Pina) Gonsalves Sr.

Mycul attended and graduated from Wareham Public Schools and worked for many years as a Comcast Customer Service Representative. His true passion was singing. Mycul was a solo, vocal artist singing at and for many local events. His most memorable moment was opening for Patti Labelle. He sang R&B, Jazz, Blues, Gospel and Pop. He also enjoyed sewing, shopping and a good laugh.

He is survived by his brothers: Gene Pina of New Bedford, Alfred Gonsalves Jr. of Wareham and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was also survived by his cousin Tracey Oliver of New Bedford. He was the brother of the late Steven Gonsalves. Memorial visitation will held on Friday, November 16, from 6-8 pm in the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center Street, Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
