James Casey Obituary

Wareham-James B. Casey, 78, of Wareham passed away Friday July 29, in Wareham. Mr. Casey was born in Boston, MA the son of the late John J. and Martha G. (Bryan) Casey. He attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Brighton High School in 1955. He later enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Casey is a Vietnam War veteran and a career Navy man. Mr. Casey attained the rank of E-6, Electricians Mate 1. He specialized in Marine Electronics and after retiring from the Navy he continued to work in the marine electrical field. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. His favorite topics of discussion were history, science fiction and politics.

Mr. Casey is survived by his children: Bryan J. Casey, Ventura Casey and Dan Casey all of Rhode Island, His grandchildren: Desmond Freeborn and Reed Casey and his siblings John J. Casey Jr. of VA and Dorothy Casey of Wareham.
