Henri Gabrey

Wareham-Henri Gabrey, 58, of Middleborough formerly of Carver and Wareham passed away suddenly at Tobey Hospital on December 7. Henri was the husband of 31 years to Kimberly (White) Gabrey also of Middleborough. He was born in Middleborough the son of Marine (Fortin) Gabrey of Middleborough and the late Frank L. Gabrey.

He attended Wareham Public Schools and graduated from Wareham High School in 1976. A self-employed area carpenter, Henri cherished his granddaughter, family and friends. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing cards, yard sales and the Raiders. He was also known as "Coach Gabrey" by the Wareham Tigers for 13 years.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children: Brock Gabrey and Tara Gabrey both of Middleborough. His siblings: Marie "Louise" Taylor of Oregon, Josette Nelson of Nebraska, Regina Smith of Wareham and Alan A. Gabrey of Plymouth. He was the grandfather of Brianna Gabrey of Middleborough and son in law of Lucille White of Wareham and the late John E. White. He was the brother of the late John Gabrey. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Ceremonies: Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday December 17, from 1-3 pm only in the Wareham Village Funeral Home 5 Center St. Wareham, MA. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
