Barbara E. (Reynolds) Leslie

Wareham-Barbara E. (Reynolds) Leslie, 90, of Parkwood Beach, Wareham formerly of Arlington, passed away on Tuesday March 12, 2019.  She was the wife of 63 years, of the late George A. Leslie.  Mrs. Leslie was born in Arlington, MA the daughter of the late George and Helen (Sinclair) Reynolds.

Mrs. Leslie was a retired school teacher having taught for many years in the Arlington and Reading school systems.  Mrs. Leslie was an active communicant of Saint Patrick’s Parish in Wareham.  She also was a long time member of Senior Boot Camp, Council on Aging, Friends of the Wareham Free Library, the Reading College Club and the Wareham Lodge of Elks.

Mrs. Leslie was the beloved mother of Wayne Leslie and his wife Marcy of Quincy and Karen Monteforte of Wareham.  She was the adoring grandmother of Brendan, Seth, Evan, Danielle, Kyle, Chad and the great grandmother of Evan and Piper.  She was the sister of Patricia Waterman and George Reynolds both of Arlington.  Mrs. Leslie was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Her funeral will be held on Monday March 18, at 9:15 from the Wareham Village Funeral Home 5 Center Street, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am in Saint Patrick’s Church 82 High Street Wareham.  Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.  Visiting hours will be held on Sunday March 17, from 2-5pm in the funeral home.  Interment will follow her funeral Mass on Monday March 18,  at 12:30 in the Massachusetts National Cemetery 1 Bennington Blvd. Bourne.
