Alfred T. Jacobson

North Weymouth-Alfred T. Jacobson, 91, of North Weymouth, passed away on Monday February, 18, 2019 with his family at his side.  He was the husband of 68 years to Alice (Di Giulio) Jacobson also of North Weymouth.

Mr. Jacobson was born in Boston and attended Quincy Public Schools.  He was a WWII Navy veteran serving as a Construction Mechanic 3rd class in Guam.  He also retired after 40 + years of service as an Electrical Maintenance Leader for the Boston Edison Company.  He enjoyed golf, fishing and gardening.

Mr. Jacobson is also survived by his children; Suzanne Owens and her husband Kevin of Plymouth and Linda Barron and her husband Charles of Abington.  He was the grandfather of Steven Owens, Jennifer Pittsley, Joseph Owens, Ashley Rober and Cameron Barron.  He was the great grandfather of Alex, Mariah and Catherine.  He was also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Committal services with military honors will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2:15pm in the Massachusetts National Cemetery 1 Bennington Blvd. Bourne.  Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
